It is one of my favorite movies, to be sure.
"Amadeus."
A magnificent, visually stunning movie with a soundtrack throughout featuring the works of one of the greatest composers to have ever lived. And, my goodness, he lived - though briefly. However, the movie, for all of its acclaim, was filled with fiction, too. The type of cinematic license which allows for a better story in the minds of the movie makers.
However, the real story is just as, if not more, compelling. One of my "go-to" YouTube channels is Royalty Now where they tell the actual story of a subject, in this case Mozart, then use their considerable skills (and tech) to bring the subject to life. I find these portraits facinating.
