The numbers alone make it incomprehensible to understand why major corporations are cratering their earnings, hurting shareholders, and shunning customers to cater to a tiny fringe (out of their mind) minority of people. It doesn't matter what the group is, the idea is always to market to the masses, not offend them.
Still, the latter is exactly what Disney, Bud-Light, Target, now Skittles candy ("Taste the rainbow" ... ironic), and others have done.
