Our monthly visit with Sal Nuzzo (VP of Policy with the James Madison Institute) was timely. We previously discussed the legislature not confronting the property insurance woes in the last session (and the one before that and the one before that, etc.).
For all of the good things state government has gotten right, this is the massive elephant in the room and with a storm approaching it becomes an even bigger problem. Leadership in the Florida House dropped the ball and little got done in the last two years.
That said, we talked about the problem and plenty of other things in our visit with Sal.
