Meet Dr. David Bellamy, Candidate, Tallahassee City Commission Seat 3

Dr. David Bellamy is on a bit of a mission. As I have chronicled on the show, the City of Tallahassee has a group of progressives which want this community to become Portland or Seattle of the east. It is led by current Commissioner Jeremy Matlow. He, and Commissioner Jack Porter, are trying to retain his (Matlow's) seat and send Commissioner Diane Williams-Cox packing. Yes, they are actively campaigning against another commissioner who sits right beside them.

One seat. If they flip one seat and filll it with a fellow socialist wannabe the City will be lost. That is a fact.

Matlow is a socialist oriented politician, if not an outright socialist. He condemns the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and small business while being a small business owner himself. Remember my definition of an illiberal - they are what they accuse others of being. Matlow is inserting himself into County races as well. To achieve the goals he has to gain ground in the County to affect the Blueprint projects.

This City seat 3 race is about transformation - the kind Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress are in the midst of pushing down the throats of Americans. How's that working out for all of us? Make no mistake - Jeremy Matlow is THAT kind of Democrat.

Dr. Bellamy is offering an alternative. He is appealing to common sense Democrats, center living folks, and, yes, Republicans, to give him a listen and decide. It's going to be one or the other.

It's up to you. I gave him the time for a podcast. It's a programming decision. My time is not, and will not be, offered to Matlow because he has never had the courtesy of ever replying to my requests for answers on questions I have asked in direct email to him and other Commissioners. Besides, I know all I need to know about Matlow. He may be an awesome husband, dad, and employer - but he is not good for this City as an elected Commissioner. His votes, his actions, and now his schemes say it all.
