Some say the ol' Red, White, and Blue is back, others feel the USA never left. I lean to the former sentiment when it comes to track and field (mostly the track) as shown at the World Championships held in Oregon this month. Four of the most dominant performances (of many) came in the men's 100m, men's 200m, the women's 400m hurdles, and the women's 4x400m.
I want to single out the performance of Sydney McLaughlin in the final two events. Just stunning. Here are the performances I think are worth the watch. Noah Lyles, though a bit showy for my taste, may be the next Michael Johnson. He is fun to watch.
These videos are a pleasant distraction. They made me feel better. LOL.
Enjoy!
