Our latest little member of the family is not so little and is preparing to fledge!
These are fun times for bird watching as the changes come fast (though it will be a few years before the familiar white plummage on the head).
It's been a couple of disappointing nesting & breeding seasons, but the Berry College (north of Atlanta) Bald Eagles are back and we have one eaglet, but sadly the second egg did not make to full maturity and successfully break out of the egg.
Still, the single baby bird is a step in the right direction after two seasons of none, the one, affectionately know as B15, is doing great.
Enjoy the live feed and, yes, this is offered with permission of Berry College.
You will enjoy this as mom and dad take turns feeding and watching from nearby.
