I will not recount my lack of fishing prowess. What I will tell you is this is a very cool six or seven minutes from Big John Fishing Adventures. This group, from Homedale, Idaho, came to catch a shark. They did not come expecting to catch this type of shark.
This is so awesome, but I will tell you I would likely have the fishing equivalent of "buck fever." If I ever hooked up a fish this significant I might throw the rod in the water. Ahhh-hahahahaha!
By the way...the epic fish was caught from the beach and this fish is swimming in the Gulf waters off the coast of Florida. Though rare, it is not unprecedented as you can watch here off St. George Island. .
