I really want to help you out regarding the cancel culture.
- They (cancellers) only target those they have a predisposition to dislike or hate;
- Friends who are "guilty" of the same or worse will never be targeted because they like them;
- As a result, bowing to or apologizing to the cancel crowd will never win their favor or support because they did not like you to begin with.
For example: had the NFL forced, yes forced, NFL players to stand during the national anthem (it would have the legal right to do so as the employer) those whining and complaining would have had to choose to play and receive a ridiculously high paycheck or find something else to do.
The bottom line is the NFL offended the fans who spend money with the league and gained nothing in return from the cancel culture because those on the outside siding with the few players never cared about or supported the league anyway.
