The utter hypocrisy of illiberals, Democrats, and, in this case, union leaders is on full display and it is up to you to make sure you know and share stories like this to all of your circle of friends and colleagues.
Once again (Democrats passed ObamaCare in the wee hours of the night at Christmas Eve 2009) Democrats took advantage of the wee hours to pass the "Covid" Relief Bill, a piece of legislation in which less than 10% actually goes to COVID-19 relief. It happened around 2:00 AM on Saturday. It's the classic ploy of the weekend news dump. You pass laws at a time when most voters are asleep and/or trying to enjoy the weekend. The mainstream media provides ample cover by using their "C-team" and limited crews.
Democrats are largely unashamed and the hypocrisy is unending on the left.
We now transition to the "left" coast of California where the head of the Berkeley Public Schools Teachers Union, Matt Meyer has been demanding (like nearly all teachers unions) schools be kept closed. However, he was caught bringing his child to an in-person daycare.
Some say this videotaping is out of bounds, but I disagree. He is playing a role in destroying the lives of others while following the new mantra of the illiberal left - "Do As We Say, Not As We Do."
Meyer is defended his choice stating, "There are no public options for my child's age."
So? He needs to do what every other parent has been forced to do - deal with it.
The only way the insanity of COVID-19 stops is if illiberals are forced to be impacted by their own edicts like everyone else. For example: elected officials who implement mandates which hurt and close businesses should not be paid until their edict is lifted...how's that for a start?
