Sure, the kids are supposed to be taking care of their school duties. And parents should be helping, but we all need a break.
Disney has stepped up to offer online lessons on drawing famous Disney characters. This is just fun. I have also included some other recommended resources for you. Remember, the videos I have here are just the beginning of the positive things available. Do not let your kids vegetate. Get them doing...something.

And then there's the education opportunities you can create and take advantage of and I would recommend nothing before the Rush Revere Series. Order the books. Then read with to your child(ren) and teach them what schools are not about the fundamental aspects of our nation's founding which are being ignored. These books are terrific. Here is a teaser and Rush himself describing.

The National High Magnetic Laboratory has a cool online Magnet Academy site. The Georgia Aquarium has some cool webcams, as does the San Diego Zoo (both places featured on The Animal Channel. A mix of YouTube Channels with high marks for kids of all ages can be found here. A good friend directed me to The Tuttle Twins. The material comes highly recommended.
