One of great, talented basketball players to ever wear the distinctive uniform of the Harlem Globetrotters, Fred "Curly" Neal, has passed away at the age of 77. I grew up watching "Curly," Meadowlark Lemon, "Geese" Ausby and the rest. A great ambassador for the game, a great entertainer, and, by all accounts, a delightful person - what a bummer. "Curly" Neal could have fun on the court dribbling a basketball and is half-court rainbows were a thing of beauty.
