Ok, the video clip sounds like it was produced in the 1970's and could have come from K-Tel, but in reality it comes from a company which makes very cutting edge products for the water. In this case it's an inflatable pontoon boat which can be tossed in the back of your truck, SUV, or trunk (of a large) car.
What intrigues me about this is it does not require a trailer, has a very low draft, and can accomodate two for a nice day on the freshwater options we have in the region. I would likely invest in a high tech rechargeable Torqeedo motor. These things can be equipped with a canopy, if you want a respite from the sun for a while, can handle four or more rods, and can be customized.
I enjoy being on the water and I cannot help but think this might be a fairly inexpensive way to enjoy doing a little fishing without the hassle of owning a normal boat. Of course, I could be wrong.
