It may be the most famous, most talked about game in NFL history due to the weather and field conditions when Green Bay hosted Dallas in the 1967 NFL Championship game. It was known as the Ice Bowl. To honor the passing of NFL and Packer Hall of Famer Bart Starr, I thought you may enjoy seeing this recreation.
Like early Super Bowls there are no original copies of the network broadcast where my dad, Ray Scott, did the first half and Cowboy announcer Jack Buck did the second. This recreation has my father doing the play-by-play recreation for the game. He is also featured in a few "memory" clips. So you know, my dad had recently had a kidney transplant and was looking a little worse for the wear when he recorded this film.
Bart Starr, for all of his football accomplishments, was an even better person.
I hope you enjoy it.
