Hey, it's only been about twelve years!
He eagerly said, "Yes."
I invited newly elected Tallahassee Mayor John Dailey and hoped for the best. The Mayor and I have not talked much over recent years. Not due to any animus, just the way things have gone. He was a Leon County Commissioner and, generally, things were good in the county.
When the mayor's race boiled down to Dailey, a seasoned and, most importantly, honest man and former Andrew Gillum henchman Dustin Daniels it was a no-brainer. Sadly, voters made it much closer than it should have been.
Of course, I am pretty certain Daniels' attachment to Gillum's falsely manufactured lustre will end shortly. But, I digress to why recent elected mayors of Tally have not wanted to be BFFs with me.
Andy Gillum refused to talk once I told him I wanted to discuss his work for People for The American Way...Foundation. Seriously...he was nervous about explaining how his work might influence his ideas as a potential mayor? Prior to Gillum former Mayor John Marks quit coming on the show when I discussed his questionable votes which were wrought with conflicts of interest. Sadly, I have been told by many different sources he uses very bad words to describe me.
I lose sleep over such things.
Having a Tallahassee mayor back on the show was kind of a pipedream. It was only going to happen if Dailey won the election. Dustin Daniels had never, ever had the courtesy to return an email, let alone the courage to engage in a little robust dialogue.
Mayor Dailey stated he would come on anytime. So, I will take him on it. I look for monthly visits. In the meantime, here is our first sit down.
