Listen: Merging Calls Between Two Chinese Restaurants

If you've looked at recent blogs you can see, with the exception of my plea for help with the PHI Center fund raiser, it's been pretty intense. I offer this to break the mood.

It's funny.

Of course, it is inevitable for someone to be offended. It's what we do in America. And in this case the building blocks for some feigned offense is there because it involves voices with Chinese accents. For some reason, people are really thin skinned about that one dialect, even though no one is doing an impersonation or impression of the voice-type.

(As an aside...that is the one voice which always gets me in trouble with someone.)

In this case, guy with cell phone called two Chinese restaurants, ostensibly to place an order, and the two spoke to each other. Let's say it took a while for them to figure out what was happening. I think it's hilarious because anyone who has ever ordered food from a Chinese, or Asian, restaurant has had to have some challenging conversations...had to. In this case, the restaurant workers get a sample of what it's like.
