Yesterday, I chronicled the coordinated "strategy" to defeat the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. It crystallized one simple reality:
- Illiberals and Democrats are so worried Roe v. Wade will be overturned they will do anything to stop, what they perceive is, the deciding vote.
I also shared the effort of Facebook, using PolitiFact, to attack a post I made regarding accuser Christine Blasey Ford's longtime employment connection to a large pharmaceutical company which has extensively used the drug commonly called "the abortion pill."
After weeks of Dem delays we finally had a chance to hear from Ford and Kavanaugh. After days of relentless, irresponsible reporting and equally pathetic editorial decisions to publish or push out, Brett Kavanaugh had his chance to speak.
He threw away his prepared remarks and spoke from the heart.
I hope Blasey-Ford had a very sleepless night - tossing and turning for what she allowed to have happen to this man. To most, there is little doubt she endured something traumatic. However, I have zero doubt - Brett Kavanaugh was not part of it.
I will state it again...if you are a Democrat and see nothing wrong in what your party representatives have resorted to in this process you need to spend some serious time soul searching because yours may be missing.
When it was said and done, South Carolina U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham had his "Popeye Moment" - he had stood all he could stands and he could not stands no more.
