This will come as no surprise to many, if not most, of you.
Capitalism rules and the rest of the world's systems of commerce stink by comparison. Textbook writers, and some teachers and professors, are doing their best to rewrite the reality, but the numbers are impossible to ignore.
When Barack Obama enacted his let's-head-to-socialism, redistribution of wealth, version of economic policy the "middle-class" he campaigned to grow all but disappeared. The gap between wealthy and poor grew and the numbers on food stamps exploded. So much so that if the number were converted to an actual bread line, like the Great Depression era, it would rival, by percentage, the worst economic downturn in U.S. history. EBT cards kept lines from forming and the media ignored the truth.
Look it up.
The percentage of Americans on welfare and food assistance was the same as the Great Depression.
Now we come to some information which may help you form a better apologetic. As we gear up for another election cycle you do not have the luxury of using the same old lines. Besides, illiberals do not care. Illiberalism is a religion. Pray for them, do not waste time trying to convert.
Focus your attention and conversations on the rest. This will help.
