Since I seem to be the only guy on the radio willing to have "real" discussions on race I figured I'd toss this one out there. You might be shocked to learn a lot of lacks listen to the show. They are encouraged by our occasional discussions and my efforts. For me, it's not enough.
It's not enough to talk. But, I also realize racial issues are a matter of the heart and that is God's turf.
I see stories like this about a rapper who invites folks onstage to do his songs, then scolds a white girl who uses the "N-word" even though he wrote the word in the lyric. It reminds me of the ridiculous assertion some make insisting it is okay for blacks to use the "N-word," but not whites.
What?
So, we are going to segregate speech? Hmmm...seems a little regressive and backward to me.
