I had followed the story of Ken Ham's efforts to bring Noah's Ark to life. Ham is the guy who has successfully put Bill Nye in his place on a couple of well-publicized debates on the Bible and the origin of life, etc. Of course, Nye denies God and embraces Gorebal Warming.
On a return trip from Ohio, and with a few hours to play with, my step-son Trey and I made the decision to see what we could see from the road and decide if we wanted to see it for ourselves.
The view from the parking lot is all it took.
Ham has built, with the help of Amish woodworkers and others, a biblically accurate ark and it is awe-inspiring.
The Ark Encounter is not cheap to visit. But, it is worth it.
