I have discussed some 80,000 stories in the history of my show. This ranks as a Top-5 story.
Zillow has a listing in Cayce, SC which is generating an amazing amount of buzz for a rather nondescript house priced at $130,000. Maybe it is because of this portion of the listing.
Property is being sold "as-is" with no repairs, no clean-up, and no warranties expressed or implied. Upstairs apartment cannot be shown under any circumstances. Buyer assumes responsibility for the month-to-month tenancy in the upstairs apartment. Occupant has never paid, and no security deposit is being held, but there is a lease in place. (Yes, it does not make sense, please don't bother asking.)
Who lives there? Norman Bates, Jimmy Hoffa, ISIS? Would you ever consider buying this home? Not me, but I suspect someone with more money than they know what to do with will buy it and then the fun will begin. For now, the listing has dropped the price by $10,000.
