Mark Levin is an American lawyer, author, and radio personality. He is the host of syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Show, as well as Life, Liberty & Levin on Fox News. Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan and was a chief of staff for Attorney General Edwin Meese. He is chairman of the Landmark Legal Foundation, has authored seven books, and contributes commentary to various media outlets such as National Review Online. On September 1, 2015, Levin became Editor-in-Chief of Conservative Review.
He has been described as "conservative", "right-wing" and "pro-Trump". Levin is known for criticizing Democrats and encouraging primary challenges to a number of incumbent congressional Republicans. He endorsed Ted Cruz in the 2016 Republican presidential primary but reluctantly endorsed Donald Trump after Trump won the Republican nomination for the presidency despite continual harsh criticism of him.
This week on the Mark Levin Show, language is critical in shaping societal discourse, it’s divided into positive and negative categories. Positive language uplifts, promoting free societies, free speech, and healthy dialogue, rooted in Judeo-Christian values and individual liberty. Negative language, prevalent in media like the Sunday news shows, involves sloganeering, name-calling, and propaganda to suppress dissent and control thought, often tied to coercive power in Marxist, Islamist, or totalitarian regimes. The media and the Democratic Party today push organized propaganda, aiming to control culture and society. Mark is impressed with Trump’s cabinet, from Marco Rubio's insights on Hamas and Iran, to the ambitious Golden Dome missile defense initiative, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s bold critiques of the health sector. AG Letitia James essentially just confessed to mortgage fraud. She said she made a mistake by putting Virginia down as her residence, but she’s a liar. Year after year, she took the deduction because it was a mistake? Later, a Supreme Court decision has significant implications for religious charter schools and the ongoing debate surrounding school choice. What are the ramifications of the 4-4 split decision, the role of the judiciary, and the challenges faced by those advocating for religious liberty in education?

Understanding Sovereignty: The Heart of America's Founding Principles
On Friday’s Mark Levin Show, the core difference between conservatives and the modern left lies in their view of the Declaration of Independence, which is a unique, revolutionary document grounded in eternal truths and God-given unalienable rights. The concept of power, as outlined in the Declaration of Independence, is central to the founding of the United States, uniquely vesting sovereignty in the people rather than the government. This power establishes individuals and society—"we the people"—as the ultimate sovereign authority. The nation’s structure requires the consent of the governed while protecting individual rights. The left fundamentally rejects the foundational principles of the United States, particularly those rooted in Judeo-Christian values and the Declaration of Independence. Woodrow Wilson was a key figure who dismissed the Declaration’s emphasis on unalienable rights, natural law, and divine sovereignty, viewing them as outdated and mystical. This rejection contrasts sharply with the founders’ vision of individual and collective sovereignty, which Democrats oppose in favor of a more progressive, secular framework. Later, Douglas Murray calls in to explain that the recent killing of two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, D.C., reflects how anti-Israel propaganda, fueled by groups like Qatar and the Iranian Revolutionary Government, is inciting Americans to commit antisemitic violence. This incident is part of a broader wave of antisemitism driven by false narratives about Israel's actions in Gaza, leading to increased violence against Jews. Also, why are federal judges are involved in decisions regarding federal funding for colleges and universities, national security, and immigration policies, which should be handled by the president and the administration. Judges should dismiss such cases, explaining that they lack jurisdiction.

Cold-Blooded Execution: The Shocking Truth Behind the Capitol Shooting
On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, a terrorist executed two Israeli Embassy employees, Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. Rodriguez said he acted for Palestine and for Gaza and was arrested on scene after discarding a 9mm handgun. He is a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation. We have this fusion of Marxist and Islamist ideologies threatening the West and antisemitic incidents globally. Weak Western policies, foreign funding from Qatar and China, open borders, and ineffective legal systems are enabling this internal threat. This Marxist-Islamist alliance aims to undermine Western civilization from within, exploiting universities where ideological conformity stifles academic freedom, funded by taxpayers and parents. The ongoing internal war, evident in cities like London, Paris, and Washington, threatens national survival, with some political defenses and isolationist views exacerbating the crisis. Also, the Supreme Court, in a 4-4 split with Justice Barrett recusing herself, failed to rule on a case from Oklahoma, effectively blocking a proposed Catholic charter school due to Chief Justice John Roberts likely siding with the liberal justices. This upheld a lower federal court's decision against state funding for religious charter schools - such funding does not breach the Constitution's Establishment Clause. Later, Erin Molan calls in to discuss her horror and anger at the global rise of the Marxist Islamist movement, particularly in the U.S., Australia, and Europe. Molan condemns Qatar’s role in funding terrorism and spreading harmful narratives. Finally, Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., Michael Leiter calls in to explain that the terrorist in D.C is an evil nexus of Marxism and Islamism – the Red Green Alliance. This alliance is a dangerous, totalitarian fusion responsible for significant historical and ongoing violence, particularly Iran's role in promoting a death cult with nuclear ambitions.

Power, Politics, and Perjury
On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show, AG Letitia James essentially just confessed to mortgage fraud. She said she made a mistake by putting Virginia down as her residence, but she’s a liar. Year after year, she took the deduction because it was a mistake? In contrast, President Donald Trump followed legal protocols, paid taxes on time, and had verified property values, with Mar-A-Lago worth nearly $1 billion, not $18 million, and still, authorities denied him due process. Also, ESPN analyst Ryan Clark dismissed Robert Griffin III's opinions on the Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese WNBA rivalry, citing Griffin's marriage to a white woman as a reason he lacks perspective on issues faced by black women in the league. Clark argued that Griffin's personal life limits his understanding of racial dynamics surrounding Clark's popularity, while also suggesting both players should be celebrated without pitting them against each other. This is disgusting. Afterward, in the chapter "On Rights" from “On Power, individual and human rights, liberty, and equality predate and do not originate from governments, as underscored by the Declaration of Independence. This principle, rooted in the belief that rights are God-given through natural law, distinguishes the U.S. from regimes like Qatar, communist China, Islamists, communists, fascists, and autocrats, as well as domestic democratic socialists. The Declaration of Independence, along with the Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts Declarations of Rights, reflects the consensus among American founders that these rights are unalienable, not granted or revocable by governments. Governments are instituted to secure these rights, deriving their powers from the consent of the governed. Later, Stephen A Smith calls in to discuss politics and sports. The Democratic Party marginalizes moderates, but they shouldn’t be able to dictate who joins the party. The last person the Democrat voters chose was Barack Obama - outside that, the party chose the Presidential nominees, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Contrast that with the Republican Party, where the voters chose Trump in 2016. They didn’t let the party pick their candidates.

Power and Deceit: The Biden Administration Exposed
On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show, President Biden’s health cover-up goes to the heart of our republic. If a single person, family, or political party can act against Americans as they have, they will stop at nothing. Biden’s family, staff, and the media knew about his dementia but hid it. The 25th Amendment should have been invoked by Kamala Harris and the Cabinet. AG Merrick Garland withheld the 2023 Robert Hur/Biden audio from Congress and the Cabinet because he didn’t want the 25th Amendment triggered. He played a major role in this cover-up and efforts against Trump and should be held accountable. They were using the power of government to try to get Biden through another election, and at the same time, try to take out President Trump. This was a massive cover-up and scandal, the likes of which the nation has never experienced. Later, the Trump cabinet officials have uniformly done a terrific job during congressional budget hearings. They’re not taking any crap from the Democrats and providing very solid responses. Afterward, some House Republicans are planning to block President Trump's economic growth and tax cut plan, which plays into the Democrat/Marxist playbook. If the bill fails, there will be a massive tax increase, the derailment of Trump's economic agenda, delayed benefits, and a potential Democrat victory in the mid-terms that could halt efforts to counter their radical policies. The bill needs to pass. Finally, the issue of the Biden autopen is very serious. We can’t have nameless Biden administration staffers using it. Rep James Comer calls in to explain that he believes they’ve identified Biden’s staffers who used his autopen and he wants to bring them in to answer questions. If he could prove Biden didn’t have knowledge of signings, can the executive orders he used to ‘Trump proof’ the federal government be voided?

The Art of Deception: Language in Modern Politics
On Monday’s Mark Levin Show, language is critical in shaping societal discourse, it’s divided into positive and negative categories. Democrats and the media have been lying about President Biden's mental and physical capabilities to maintain power, using totalitarian propaganda techniques like manipulation, deception, and repetition. Democrats praised Biden’s sharpness and focus, which contradicts observable reality, as part of a strategy to bully the public into accepting their narrative. Also, the Supreme Court, in an 8-1 decision, allowed the Trump administration to remove protected status for 350,000 to 530,000 Venezuelans, enabling their deportation. The Court found the Biden administration misused protected status laws by granting it broadly without proper case-by-case evaluations, which are meant for those with legitimate fears of returning home. Justice Brown-Jackson dissented, while a separate 7-2 ruling limited another immigration statute, showing mixed Court outcomes. Later, there was a vast conspiracy by the Biden administration, mainstream media, academia, and the Marxist-leaning Democratic Party to maintain power by controlling language, thought, press, and information, akin to tactics used in totalitarian regimes. This was a deliberate assault on individual rights and civil society, involving a cover-up of President Biden’s physical and mental health issues, including a possible cancer diagnosis during his presidency. Democrats were complicit in concealing Biden’s condition while simultaneously attempting to destroy Donald Trump through legal battles and indictments to ensure Biden’s path to power. Afterward, Qatar cannot be considered an ally due to its role as a hub for terrorism. It funded the 9/11 attacks alongside Saudi Arabia, supported Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and financed Hamas, thus contributing to the October 7 attack.

The Best Of Mark Levin - 5/17/25
This week on the Mark Levin Show, Mark emphasized that books endure far beyond radio, podcasts, or TV. While he’s often discussed liberty, unalienable rights, and tyranny, he’s only touched on power indirectly. Now, he’s completed his latest book, On Power. This book is different than any other book Mark has written. On Power is an analysis of how power shapes history. Power is more than a word; it determines whether you are free or not. It’s a subject all of us deal with every day. It’s a matter that can be discussed psychologically, ideologically, and philosophically. Also, in On Power, there’s a stark contrast between America’s founding, rooted in a blend of faith and Enlightenment ideals, and the centralized control sought by political Islam, as highlighted by Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim reformist. Jasser argues that Islamism, unlike the Judeo-Christian principles shaping America’s Constitution, rejects individual liberty and enforces a monolithic faith, often tied to anti-Israel and anti-Semitic agendas, as seen in groups like the Muslim Brotherhood. On Power examines the concept of power, its manipulation by politicians, media, and ideologues, and its impact on individuals and society. It aims to provoke a deeper understanding and dialogue about power's application, hoping to serve as a source for liberty against tyranny. Also, Saudi Arabia played a significant role on the 9/11 slaughter of Americans. Their Crown Prince didn’t even apologize once yesterday for what they did to us, and the 9/11 families are probably reeling from this. And Qatar protected the leader of the 9/11 attack from the FBI, before he was able to launch his war on America that killed our people. The Supreme Court addressed a case involving President Trump's executive order to end birthright citizenship. These national injunctions represent an unconstitutional overreach by federal district courts, lacking a historical or constitutional basis, and justices like Ketanji Brown Jackson are promoting a "deconstitutionalization" of government by justifying such injunctions as a means to force quick Supreme Court review.

The Comey Standard: Justice for All or Just for Some?
On Friday's Mark Levin Show, WMAL's Larry O'Connor fills in for Mark. Former FBI Director James Comey faces backlash for threatening President Donald Trump, downplaying it as minor. If reversed, Trump critics would likely amplify the issue. Threatening a president, especially after multiple assassination attempts, is unprofessional and demands serious attention amid heightened tensions. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden invoked his late son to dodge questions and gain sympathy, revealing his apparent disregard for the nation, as seen throughout his presidency. The Robert Hur interview audio highlighted this. No action was taken against Biden for mishandling sensitive documents left in his garage, yet Trump faced efforts to disqualify his candidacy over securely stored documents from his prior term. The left and the media, aware of Biden’s cognitive limitations, concealed them but now admit he shouldn’t have run, backtracking and exposing their lack of transparency and trustworthiness.

Justice Wars: Birthright Citizenship and the Battle for Power - How it Affects YOUR Liberties
On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, the Supreme Court addressed a case involving President Trump's executive order to end birthright citizenship. These national injunctions represent an unconstitutional overreach by federal district courts, lacking a historical or constitutional basis, and justices like Ketanji Brown Jackson are promoting a "deconstitutionalization" of government by justifying such injunctions as a means to force quick Supreme Court review. The judiciary's actions, particularly from activist judges, are a dangerous expansion of power that undermines the Constitution and executive authority, especially in critical areas like national security. The 14th Amendment was solely intended to grant citizenship to children of former slaves, not to children of foreigners, and that the current practice of birthright citizenship is a constitutional fiction unsupported by historical evidence. This case is fundamentally about power—specifically, who has the authority to make critical decisions. Activist federal district judges, backed by justices like Jackson and Amy Coney Barrett, are wielding negative power to overturn the last election and undermine the Constitution by endorsing these injunctions. Prediction: the Court, lacking courage, will likely uphold the status quo, citing long-standing executive branch practice and the potential burden on future children born in the U.S., thus perpetuating a misinterpretation of the Constitution that threatens American liberty. Later, Iran refuses to halt its centrifuge operations, which, if not destroyed, preserves its nuclear bomb program. Iran must never get a nuclear weapon. Over 200 Republicans agree and have called on President Trump to dismantle Iran's uranium enrichment capabilities.

From Tyranny to Liberty: The Fight Against Abuse of Power
On Wednesday’s Mark Levin, On Power examines the concept of power, its manipulation by politicians, media, and ideologues, and its impact on individuals and society. It’s great that we have a deal with Qatar, but they’ve also spent billions trying to destroy our colleges and universities. Afterward, most House and Senate Republicans signed two letters urging President Trump to reject any nuclear deal with Iran unless it fully dismantles its nuclear program. Later, Zuhdi Jasser calls in to explain that achieving peace requires the complete defeat of the Islamist death cult like Hamas. Western reluctance to confront this ideology head-on, due to fears of appearing Islamophobic, enables its spread and threatens global stability. The only decisive action against such extremism, rather than appeasement or half-measures, can secure a peaceful future. Finally, Sen Bernie Sanders advocates for a communist style national health care system, drawing from the 1936 Stalin Constitution. This raises questions about whether healthcare as a human right means unlimited access to any treatment, who controls doctors’ and nurses’ work hours, and if such a system could force doctors to provide care against their will.
