The ‘No Kings’ protest returns to South Florida this weekend as 3,000 demonstrations are planned nationwide on March 28.

Thousands of South Floridians are expected to take to the streets Saturday in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

According to the website: “As President Trump escalates his attempts to control us, it is on us, the people, to show that we will fight to protect one another and our country. If he believes we will roll over and allow him to take our freedoms, he is mistaken.”

Protesters will again demonstrate against President Donald Trump, as part of the third nationwide “No Kings” protest.

Co-organizer of the Broward "No Kings" protest in Coral Springs, Blaise Amendolace, telling the Miami Herald, "This act of peaceful, lawful, civil action is healthy. As a psychologist, I know that one of the antidotes to helplessness is agency,” he said.

The largest protest in Miami is expected at Tropical Park off Bird Road. Organizers weren’t able to return to the Torch of Friendship due to a scheduling conflict with Ultra Music Festival.

Protests are planned in liberal cities like Chicago, New Orleans, and conservative areas in states like Florida, Kansas and Pennsylvania.
