(Tampa, FL) - Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, is visiting the U.S. Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Thursday.

He will meet with the head of CENTCOM, Adm. Brad Cooper, for updates on the military operation "Epic Fury" being orchestrated from Tampa against Iran.

“U.S. forces have decimated the Iranian regime’s ballistic missile capabilities and are sinking their naval vessels to the bottom of the sea,” according to the CENTCOM news release.

Hegseth is also set to host a first-ever conference on battling drug cartels, at U.S. Southern Command in Doral.

Defense and security leaders from the Caribbean, Central America and South America are expected to attend.
