The teenage son of an Israeli diplomat on house arrest for running over a police officer with his motorcycle in Sunny Isles, was allegedly beaten in a Florida jail in an argument over sausages.

19-year-old Avraham Gil returned to the Miami-Dade County jail to update his mugshot after he was sentenced to house arrest for striking the Sunny Isles police lieutenant in January.

According to police, Gil engaged got into a bizarre discussion about sausages with another inmate, Inmate Blake Elvis Ermus, 32, while in the holding cell and was reportedly attacked.

Ermus was in jail for a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and is now charged with felony battery by a detainee, according to jail records.

In his new mugshot Gil is stoically staring emotionless into the camera, unlike his first tearful mug shot at Miami Corrections.
