Tempers expected to flare at today's Coral Gables City Commission meeting. City Commissioner Ariel Fernandez wants to give the boot to City Manager Peter Iglesias and replace him with the Assistant City Manager. Fernandez campaigned on replacing the manager and moved to fire him in his very first meeting after being sworn in. He says Iglesias has no interest in following the direction of the commission and isn't willing to meet the needs of residents. He says he should be replaced by someone with more experience.
