Miami police detectives believe the house in the 5100 block of NW 2nd Terrace was being watched on January 23rd.
About an hour after a man locked the door, but forgot to turn on the security system, two men are caught on surveillance video knocking on the door before breaking into the house.
The two men took their time and are seen walking out the door with the small safe.
Officer Michael Vega says that safe included at least a thousand dollars in cash and important paperwork.
The suspects are both described as Hispanic men between the ages of 35 and 40 and between 5'8" and 5'10".
One suspect was wearing a black Adidas hat, a Cuban link chain, black gloves and a mask.
The second was wearing a distinct shirt with "Just Bring It" printed on the front.
