South Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz says families won't be seeing the payments this month because they are part of President Biden's social spending package that did not pass the Senate. She's calling for the passage of the Build Back Better Act so families can continue getting these payments. The credit helped thousands of Florida families with a $300-dollar-per-child monthly check from the IRS to pay for groceries, rent, household bills and child care.
