Teachers and other staff members of the Martin County School District, ages 50 and over will have the chance to get the COVID-19 vaccine at a special point of distribution being set up on Saturday.
Around 900 vaccines will be administered at the Martin County High School gym in Stuart from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Employees will have to bring their driver's license and an educator or employer identification and they'll have to schedule an appointment first.
The event is open to eligible staff of Martin County charter and private schools as well.
