Carnival Cruise Line is canceling more of its planned cruises for 2021. The cruise line says there will be no sailings from Miami or Port Canaveral through the end of February. In a statement, president of Carnival Cruise Line, Christine Duffy said, "We apologize to our guests but we must continue to take a thoughtful, deliberate and measured approach as we map out our return to operations in 2021."
Carnival is not the only cruise line that's been hit by the pandemic. In march, the US Centers for Disease Control issued a No Sail Order for Cruise Ships banning cruising out of US ports through October. Carnival also announced that its highly anticipated new ship, the Mardi Gras, won't make its debut until April 24th.
