A second drug manufacturer is turning to Palm Beach County for help developing a COVID-19 vaccine.
The Palm Beach Research Center has been tasked with holding a clinical study on Janssen Pharamaceutical's two-dose vaccine candidate.
The company, owned by Johnson and Johnson, is enrolling volunteers ages 18 and older who are in good health.
They're looking to enroll a thousand participants as early as this week.
Janssen is already researching a single-dose vaccine and Palm Beach Research Center is also conducting Moderna's vaccine study. That company says its vaccine is more than 94 percent effective.
