(Miami, FL) -- Tropical Storm Zeta has formed in the Caribbean Sea.
The National Hurricane Center says Zeta is currently about 250 miles south of western Cuba with sustained winds of 40 miles-per-hour.
The storm is expected to move northwest into the Gulf of Mexico early next week, where it could strengthen into a hurricane. Zeta is the 27th named storm of the Atlantic season this year.
