Florida Deputy, Good Samaritan Rescue Woman From Burning Car

A Florida deputy and a Good Samaritan are speaking out about their rescue of a woman from a burning car.

21-year old Rosie Ramirez was trapped inside the vehicle that burst into flames after a crash in Stuart this week.

Martin County Sheriff's Sergeant Timothy Baltes was sent to the scene and found 29-year old Tony Weisman.

"It was good to have that guy with me. I was happy that he was able to jump in the mix right away without hesitation. Not a lot of people would do that."

Weisman says he saw the woman stuck and couldn't just drive away.

"I'm not going to just sit there and watch somebody burn."

Both men pulled Ramirez from the car. She suffered broken bones but is expected to recover.
