Can You 'Frame' This Crime at a Tampa Store?

TAMPA -- Hillsborough deputies are focusing in on a case of eyeglass frame theft.

They're looking for a woman they say entered Anderson & Chabra Eyecare on West Fletcher Avenue August 23rd, tried on a number of frames, and put a Tom Ford designer eyeglass frame in her pocket while a worker was distracted. A surveillance photo is seen below.

That frame is worth up to $700.

The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office is taking tips at (813) 247-8200, or for a potential cash reward, tip Crime Stoppers at (800) 873-8477 (TIPS).
