South Carolina Stuns Gators

The South Carolina Gamecocks (3-3, 1-3 SEC) stunned the 16th-ranked Florida Gators (4-2, 2-2) 38-19 on Saturday night in Gainesville. It was South Carolina's fist win in SEX since September 2025, and first win in Gainesville since 2014.

South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Ellers was dominant, going 23-of-35 with 279 yards passing and four touchdowns - he ran for a fifth touchdown. Gators quarterback Aaron Philo went 21-for-28 with 227 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Florida struggled to run the ball, with Jadan Baugh managing only 59 yards on 15 carries, and his touchdown came when the game was out of hand.

The Gators are next in action when they travel Austin to play the Texas Longhorns next weekend. The Longhorns will be coming off of their first loss of the season after falling to Oklahoma 27-24 on Saturday afternoon while ranked #1 in the country.
