The Florida Gators (3-0, 1-0 SEC) defeated Auburn (2-1, 0-1 SEC) 44-39 on Saturday night in Auburn. WIth the win, the Gators are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2019.
Aaron Philo went 15-for-22 with 204 yards passing and a touchdown, also throwing an interception. Jadan Baugh paced the Gators offense, rushing the ball 26 times for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the win. For Auburn, Byrum Brown went 20-for-35 with 271 yards and three touchdowns in the losing effort - he ran for another 65 yards and a score.
The Gators are next in action on Saturday when they host #8 Ole Miss next Saturday. Kickoff between Florida and Ole Miss is scheduled for 3:30 PM on Saturday September 26 in Gainesville - you can hear the game throughout Tampa Bay on AM 1250 WHNZ.
