Gators Fall To #5 Texas A&M

The Florida Gators (2-4, 1-2) fell to the fifth-ranked Texas A&M Aggies (6-0, 3-0) 34-17 on Saturday night at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas. For the Aggies, it is their first 6-0 start since 2016.

Marcel Reed threw went 16-for-26 with 234 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception. The Aggies scored touchdowns on their first three possessions - after that, they were only able to hit a single goal until a two-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter helped clinch the win for the Aggies.

DJ Lagway went 21-for-37 with 245 yards and two touchdowns for the Gators in the losing effort.

The Gators are next in action when they host Mississippi State next Saturday in Gainesville. Kickoff between the Gators and Bulldogs is scheduled for 4:15 PM - you can hear the game throughout Tampa Bay on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of the Gators.
