Florida Attorney General Warns Of Scams During U-S Census

Beware of scammers now that the U-S Census is underway. The Census is taken every decade to get an accurate population count, but the workers taking it will never ask you for personal information like social security number, banking and or credit card data. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody says criminals may also try to come to your home impersonating U-S Census workers, make sure anyone you speak to has a badge and I-D number. Census questionnaires should arrive in the mail by mid-March, Census canvassers will begin quality check interviews in April and some homes will get re-visits in May.
