Palestinians Angry Over D.C. Office Closing

The Palestinian Authority is threatening to stop communicating with the U.S. if the U.S. closes the Palestine Liberation Organization's office in DC.  Palestinian officials say a decision to close the office would be "unacceptable."  Palestinians say the U.S. is bowing to pressure from Israel as the Palestinian Authority tries to cooperate with the peace process.

The Trump administration says a call by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute Israeli officials for settlement activity and aggression against Palestinians triggered a U.S. law that could lead to the closure.
