The Beatles.
I have never been a huge fan. Just not my style, though somewhere I have a CD of the groups #1 songs just because it's music history.
I was kid when George, John, Paul, and Ringo came across the pond and took America by storm. This short concert footage is from 1964 from the Washington (D.C.) Coliseum and was the first concert in America before more than 8,000 star struck (mostly female) fans (and not a few smiling, amused observers).
I had to laugh at the beginning when the drum stand was set-up backwards and Ringo had to turn everything around which, when they performed to the other side had to be turned, again (and then again). The singing is mostly off-pitch, but it's the Beatles, in black and white with teenagers heads bopping back and forth, and it's fun to watch.
