"Say I Won't."
Words of defiance and determination.
Also the title of a song from my favorite group, Mercy Me. When my wife and I went to the group's concert in October we walked away agreeing it might have been the best concert we'd ever attended. It was a terrific show without being showy. The attention was all on Jesus.
But when "Say I Won't" was performed ... wow.
I kind of knew what was coming. I knew the back story of the song and, at the concert, the group played a video roll in which was short and set the stage (literally) for the song. For anyone who has been told they can't accomplish something, great or small, this song is four plus minutes of, "Oh yeah?!? Say I won't!"
