He has long been a favorite of mine. U.S. Senator Josh Hawley is one of the brightest in Congress (low bar, I know, but I have high standards ... lol). Here is is asking questions of Loren Alikahn, a nominee for judge for the U.S. District of Columbia. The hearing took place in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
This interaction shows how illiberals go to excruciating lengths to not answer direct questions and, when they do answer, offer wordy responses without saying anything.
Hawley is a breath of fresh air. He is prepared, articulate, and measured.
