Florida Gov. Rick Scott says he will participate in three debates this fall. The Republican incumbent announced today that he would appear in debates hosted by Telemundo, CNN and Leadership Florida that will be occur in October.

The dates for the debates are Oct. 10th, Oct. 15th and Oct. 21st. Scott in a statement called on Democratic rivals Charlie Crist and Nan Rich to plan to participate in the debates as well. Crist and Rich will square off against each other in the Aug. 26th primary.

Crist has refused to debate Rich before their primary, saying that he's focused on running against Scott. Scott's decision means that he will not participate in a fourth debate that the University of Florida wanted to host in September.
