A bill that would allow children of illegal immigrants to pay in-state rates for college tuition has been approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee in the Tallahassee. Many don't like it, but Senator Jack Latvala says it's the right thing to do:


The bill states that if a child has spent a minimum of four years in public school, they will be eligible for the in-state rates. Opponents of the tuition bill say it's dividing the GOP and they're unhappy that the Governor is supporting it.
