Update: An autopsy is underway on Ryan Uhre's body. When results are released, WFLA will bring you the details.

The gutted building he was found in has been vacant since 2006 and was given to the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation by a donor who intended for the foundation to sell and use the proceeds for the hospital.

From 2.18.14: Tallahassee Police have confirmed that the body that was found in a building at 111 College Ave. near Duval St. is Ryan Uhre.

TPD says that after reviewing video, officers were looking over the area around 8:30am Tuesday morning. That’s when they discovered the 23 year old missing student’s body.

At this time there's no foulplay suspected but the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not said how Uhre died nor have they commented on the condition of his body when it was found.

The FSU student had been missing since the evening of Super Bowl Sunday.

“We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Ryan Uhre, a well-liked member of our university family. We feel the profound loss of a life ending far too soon — and our thoughts and prayers go out to Ryan’s family, which has shown much courage during the past few weeks.
