LIVE NEST CAM - Heartbreak! Berry College Bald Eagle NestCam

Sadly, I announce the passing of B13 and now, B12. Both of the this year's eaglets have died over the last few days. State and national wildlife officials can only speculate as to what happened and why. There will be no intervention to avoid disrupting the nest.

As a warning, the eaglets may be consumed by the parents or left to decompose. You may choose to come back next late fall when the Bald Eagle couple return. This is a first in my time watching the Berry College Bald Eagles.

I have followed the annual nest building, egg laying, vigil keeping, eaglet hatching, fledgling leaving drama for a few years now. Berry College is northwest of Atlanta and the nest is on campus (the largest campus in America).
